We are all a little beautiful crazy and we have our families to thank for that! Our Khoobsurat family! Not talking about looks, it’s what’s inside that matters okay! So let’s list down 7 of the craziest members all of us will always find in our wonderfully vibrant families at any given time, because the crazies are the most fun. If you agree, high five, we’re besties forever! If you don’t… you my friend don’t know exactly how much fun some of these very Khoobsurat people are!
1) The hyper grandma

She means well but man, is she hyper, or is she hyper? First she’ll stress about your marriage, then she’ll stress about who you marry, after that she’ll stress about you having babies, and then she’ll stress about naming your babies. This list can go on and on but barring her hyper-activeness and somewhat snarky remarks on my “late night partying” I love my granny :)
2) The alcoholic uncle

I see my future in him. Plus uncles who love their tipple are the most fun/embarrassing (depends on how you see it) at family get-togethers!
3) The easily impressed cousin

They think you are the coolest person to walk on this planet. They also think that the sun shines out of your bum. These easily impressed cousins will remain in awe of you till they hit their teens. Then they get rather troublesome.
4) The elder sibling who loves his pranks

They think you are the most uncool person to walk on this planet. They also think that the sun can never shine out of your bum. These prank loving elder siblings will make your childhood miserable until you grow up a little. Then you guys can hang.
5) The spinster aunt

This lady does not give a flying f*** about society norms and diktats. She does as she pleases and she never minces her words. An “embarrassment” to some of the family and the darling of every young girl, the spinster aunt is an awesome role model!

Frankly I love the mother-daughter relationship shown in the Khoobsurat trailer, Kirron Kher and Sonam Kapoor’s interaction sounds really similar to mine and my mum’s! So tell me which crazy person in your family you’d love to be like some day! And always remember to be crazy, be Khoobsurat!
