In an interview with CNN News18, he had revealed that he definitely would want to get married.

I am not someone who just wants to be not married. I pretty much believe in the institution. I don’t think there is a date or age to it, it is about feeling. When we feel it is the right time, we will do it. Right now, there are literally no dates to enjoy anything. It is just work at the moment.

While we still haven’t got any confirmation whether this couple will finally tie the knot, we hope it’s true! It’s another Bollywood wedding we can feast our eyes on!

Aren’t weddings dreamy? Of course, every wedding has its own charm. But some weddings stay in our hearts and minds forever. One such phenomenal wedding was of Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja. We obviously expected it to be a grand affair. We also knew it would be a starry night that the world would never forget. But what went into putting together this extravaganza? We got an opportunity to speak to their wedding planners, Wedniksha. We absolutely loved the way they organised the wedding on such short notice. And they gave us the deets on the wedding. So let’s get right to it.

Who Is Wedniksha?

These wedding planners are a brand under Wizcraft, India’s leading communication and entertainment company and is run by Bhavnesh Sawhney and Farid Khan. They have planned and executed many extravagant weddings in the country internationally as well.

What Was The Brief Given To Them By The Two Families?

Wednishka was given the freedom to take many decisions in planning the wedding. The brief was pretty clear. Both the families wanted the wedding to be minimalistic. They wanted a very simple wedding that made the guests feel at home. Whether it was the food or entertainment, all of it was simple yet elegant. They wanted it to have a warm home-coming vibe. It was a very intimate affair according to Bhavnesh.

How Long Did They Take To Plan The Wedding?

It took only 3 weeks to plan and execute the wedding. It was planned with such detailing, that the execution was seamless.

How Many Employees At Wedniksha Were Involved In The Planning?

There were about 40-50 employees at all times involved in planning, design creations, coordination, etc.

The key aspect was definitely hospitality. The personalisation and making sure that all the celebrity guests were hosted well. Since most guests were celebrities and close family friends, the most importance was given to making them feel at home.

There were three prime functions. The mehendi party was on 7th May, at the Sunteck Signature Island, BKC. The pheras were on 8th May, at Rockdale, Bandstand followed by the party that was held at the Leela in the evening.

Who Captured These Wonderful Moments?

Anand Rathi (Reels And Frames) was the photographer and videographer at the wedding. They are one of India’s top documentary photography and film companies. They specialise in wedding, lifestyle, maternity, infant and corporate photography and filmmaking.

Celebrity weddings are a big deal here. In fact, anything to do with celebrities is a coffee table conversation. Sonam Kapoor just got married to her boyfriend Anand Ahuja and the whole nation was glued to Instagram for a minute-by-minute update. We don’t know if you noticed that Sonam Kapoor changed her earrings during her mehendi function. In case you haven’t, we’re here to put some light upon this chapter.

Sonam during her first wedding event, which was at her home on Juhu was dressed in an Anuradha Vakil ensemble. It was a mehendi ceremony for her and her very close family members and friends. When she started her mehendi she was wearing these larger than life chaandbali earrings that looked absolutely beautiful but unfortunately weren’t practical. A mehendi done on the bride requires a minimum of 6 to 8 hours and wearing those heavy earrings wasn’t a good idea. Hence she changed to jadua studs that helped her shake a leg and enjoy her mehendi event without pain.

Veere Di Wedding’s Bhangra Ta Sajda Will Make You Want To PARTY!

Veere Di Wedding has already given us the party anthem of the year and now comes the ‘high’ on fun, Bhangra Ta Sajda. It is a modern take on the traditional Punjabi song sung at wedding functions and shows the cast letting loose. The leading ladies, Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania look stunning in their decked-up desi avatars as they break into the bhangra moves with their love interests and family members.

Rumours always seem to be making their way towards Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja. One of the speculations that rose during their wedding was about their trip to London. Many reports suggested that the couple had bought a house there and will be moving to the city after tying the knot. Some even reported that the duo will be spending equal time in India and London.

Sonam who has been busy winning everyone over with her red carpet looks and appearances at Cannes finally put an end to all the conjecture. During an interview with Mid-day, the actress was quoted saying:

I have been shuttling between Mumbai and London for the past two years. It seems no one noticed this so far. My life isn’t going to change much; what has been happening for the past two years will continue.

She also mentioned that her marriage will in no way affect her professional life:

Life remains the same after tying the knot. Women need to stop thinking that marriage is life-altering. If it doesn’t change a man’s life, why should it change anything for a woman?

Sonam recently changed her name on social media to add Anand’s last name to it. But she wasn’t the only one, Anand also added an ‘S’ to his name right after that.

The Veeres are taking over our summer and we’re diggin’ every bit of it. We’re loving this all-girl cast not because it’s exactly what Bollywood needs but also because we get to see one stunning outfit after another with the cast’s promotional looks. Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Swara Bhasker went all out desi with their OOTDs and even coordinated their summer-ready shades. Thanks to them, we now have a style file to follow for desi wear during these hot summer days.

Sonam’s no-chudidaar mantra is one we’ll definitely be following this summer. She simply wore this House of Kotwara anarkali with utmost grace. While a pop of red on her lips and gorgeous chaandballis added to the prettiness of her ensemble.

Swara wore an ivory Punit Balana creation and paired it with heavy earrings. The halter neck as well as the light, breezy material and pulled back hair ensured a summer-ready desi look.

“There’s No Rivalry Between Us”- Sonam Kapoor On Her Equation With Kareena Kapoor

If there’s one thing that’ll never stop making the news, it’s probably rumours of friction between two leading ladies. The same has been happening with Sonam Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor. Rumours of them not getting along on the sets of Veere Di Wedding have been doing the rounds for quite some time now, but, Sonam finally stepped in to clear the air about this.

In an interview with Mid-Day, she said that they’re even part of a Whatsapp group. While we’d got to know about the girls’ group back when Bebo and Sonam had revealed it on Koffee With Karan Season 4, this time around she gave us more insight into what exactly goes on in it!

There’s no rivalry between us. In fact, Bebo, Rhea, me and Lolo have a Whatsapp group called The Kapoor Girls. We post each other’s yesteryear pictures on it. Bebo and I have been friends for 15 years.

Boy! That’s one Whatsapp group we’d love to be a part of.

She also went on to say that such gossip does not affect them at all and they know how the media works.

Such gossip doesn’t bother us because we are in a secure space. Bebo and I are third generation of actors (in our families) and we know how the media functions. We are great friends. We have made a kick-ass movie and proved that women can work with each other and get along. We had a blast (while shooting Veere)

And the trailer is sure proof of how much fun all the girls had while shooting for the film!

We’re so happy to see such #GirlLove.

Sonam, Kareena, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania are busy with promotions of their movie that is set to release on 1st of June.

We can’t contain our excitement for what looks like the first ever proper chick flick (or #NotAChickFlick) in Bollywood!

Kareena Kapoor Khan can look good in literally anything. From workout basics to red carpet special’s, everything looks not just good but absolutely fabulous on her. Celebrity stylist and Sonam Kapoor‘s sister, Rhea Kapoor styled Bebo in a Meena Nigeria creation and boy-oh-boy, she looked good! It was a simple burgundy dress impeccably detailed with multiple layers. This dress also had a cutout on the side of the outfit which was extremely off centre, but it looked so cool. At first sight, this dress took us by surprise cause of the odd placement of this peek-a-boo detail, but after clear observation, we realised it was intentional. This look was styled with a minimalistic approach, exactly why there were no accessories added expect for this bronze strappy heels from Aquazzura. Her makeup was also pretty simple too and just like every single time she looked absolutely stunning!
